The location of the White Mountains Summer Homes gated community was absolutely stunning. The property we were at was nice inside as per the website. There were no pictures of the outside of the property on the website, so a tad deceiving. The bathroom door hinges need WD-40. We could not locate that item within the house. The toilet should be looked at. Sometimes it flushed, sometimes it didn't. The grill outside was rusted, so we had to use the stove, which was fine, but when you are in that beautiful environment, you want to be outdoors. There was not an abundance of paper towels for use (there was 1 roll for 3/4 days). Thank goodness there was enough toilet paper. I had to purchase my own paper towels, and what wasn't used, came home with me. I wasn't going to donate. The first day, we had issues with the TV - contacted customer service and we rec'd a phone call from "Dave" to try and walk us thru the process. He indirectly referred to us as idiots - as it was NOT the remote - it was the users - i.e., us. It got heated on both sides and I ended up terminating the conversation. We have stayed at other VRBO's in the rim country, and we were SPOILED, and I mean SPOILED. This was a major let down for accommodations. I would entertain the Pinetop area again, especially that gated community; however, I will not stay at this property, nor will I recommend.
