'We had a wonderful weekend in this home. Amazing views from both upper and lower decks. We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. The beds were very comfortable but could use some more blankets and a few more towels. Excellent location; close to Linville Falls, the winery and Grandfather Mountain. Overall a great weekend.'

'This wonderful little gem is at the top of the mountain. It’s a great ride up the road to the top of the mountain. The view was wonderful. The house was really a perfect size for just the two of us. It was well stocked with what we needed or wanted. The nice thing was that the owners were right next-door in their house if we needed anything they would’ve come over in a moment. 'A friend and I needed a weekend of quiet, respite, and rejuvenation, and that's just what we got! Sitting on top of a mountain, the house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lots of spaces to inhabit. Ditto the patio and grounds so each of us were able to enjoy much needed "me time" surrounded by dwarf iris, creeping phlox, pink azaleas, and flame azaleas, which drew dozens of butterflies! 'We can't say enough great things about this sweet little house in Banner Elk. Everything about this house was easy. It was in the perfect location, not far from downtown Banner Elk, but still felt peaceful and serene. The house was immaculate and provided a very comfortable stay for a short weekend getaway.
