I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. '

'The expansive view of the lake was divine. We saw many red winged blackbirds as well as wood ducks and mallards. On night there was a dramatic electrical storm that came over the mountain and across the water, but we could watch it while feeling cozy and safe in the comfy chairs. The kitchen had all that we needed. The location was a perfect balance of rural and near town. Caught a movie at the Millerton movie house which was enlightening. An excellent escape cottage! Showers were quickly hot....

'What a lovely visit my family and I had over the recent holidays! The home was perfect. We loved the large, well-equipped kitchen, the openness of the downstairs, the charm of an older home, and the proximity (3 blocks) to the Village of Millbrook (with several restaurants, coffee shops, and small stores/boutiques). Keri was an excellent host. She left a welcome note when we arrived, she was very responsive, and she very courteous in all our dealings. We can’t wait to go back and stay...

'Fantastic property, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Top location right on the river which is both very quiet and peaceful but also close to Saugrities and other towns. Great kitchen to cook in and well equipped. Excellent communication from host. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon. '
