I was looking for a cozy getaway for my December birthday and this could not have been better. We were looking for a cozy, restful weekend away and it was perfect. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable, and perfect for sleeping in and slow, relaxing days of reading, streaming and movies, and games and puzzles. We took our little doggies on walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed the Main Street food (the pizza!!) coffee, and general store just minutes away. We prepared 4 meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The cabin and amenities were easy to navigate and thoughtfully laid out. There was so much to do in the area that we look forward to coming back to explore more. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our minor traveling hiccups and made the whole trip easy and exactly what we hoped for. We are Kern County residents live about an hour away and are very excited to enjoy more of this community and will be back for sure!

Experience an art explosion.

House was clean and had good instructions where needed. Lots of quirky art pieces for your amusement. Decks were cleans and enabled relaxation in the quiet evening. I loved the novelty and playfulness of the place. Nice sized rooms and comfortable living room. Two large bathrooms.I would like to caution people that taking a shower in either bathroom could be difficult due to lack of grab bars. The host was very accomodating and I'd recommend this place without hesitation.

Retreat Getaway

We have been visiting the PMC for quite sometime now. We love the small community, the friendly faces. The place denotes like a green place away from the city. It is just 51 miles away from my home but PMC is a retreat getaway for us. Peaceful and serene.. Love Mr. Joshua’s home. It is really roomy and well kept. Hope we left the place clean enough as we usually do in other homes. Thank you for accommodating us and our FurBaby..and till next time.

Restful stay

We stayed two nights in Joshua's house, it is full of interesting objects and art, and had everything we needed to relax at the end of a long road trip. We enjoyed the board games and the teens loved the cool retro arcade games. It is a very comfortable space, and a short distance to a yummy bakery and decent general store. A Fun Home Away From Home!

Our son lives in PMC and is battling cancer. We rented this cabin to help him recover. He has no A/C and a BUNCH of stairs, so this eclectic and tranquil home provided a nice respite for him and our family--who popped in for a surprise long weekend! The art is SPECTACULAR! Each room feels thoughtfully curated. And let's not forget the master tub, which everyone else seemed to enjoy so much that I never got a chance to try it during our two-week stay! It's that good.

Private Getaway

Cozy, quiet, 3 bdr, 2 bth house, full of beautiful art works. Bathrooms are renovated with contemporary style. The backyard is very private with Grill and Gazebo. Great House! Thank you, Joshua! We had a great, reloading time :).
