« The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. »

« This place was great! The restaurant downstairs was very convenient. If you are considering staying, I would suggest an upper level room. Our upstairs neighbors were too noisy! »

« The room was fresh smelling when we entered. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the temp was perfect. The only complaint I have is the neighbors were so noisy until 4 in the morning so the sleep wasn’t the best. »

While the new renovations looked nice at first glance, it was clear they were done poorly—it felt like they simply slapped a layer of paint on the walls and called it finished, without addressing underlying issues. « The lake was majestically frozen this time of year. We enjoyed the view of it from the full floor to ceiling windows of our Cedar cabin. The sauna beside the lake with a full bathroom with shower was a luxury for this time of year. « No soap in shower or sink. What looked like smeared poop on the underside of our white quilt. Pool and hot tub not available but no mention of that when booking. No continental breakfast but was also mentioned when booking. I have pictures of the poop smeared quilt which I only saw after sleeping in the bed. »
