Whispering Pines is a beautiful, cozy, RELAXING and luxurious 2 bedroom, log cabin located in Sherwood Forest, a gated resort that boasts the very BEST VIEWS of the Smokies!!! We are very conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. DOLLYWOOD and most major attractions are all a very short drive, less than 10 minutes away. After a wonderful night's sleep in one of our EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE king size beds, begin your day by enjoying a starter complimentary morning coffee brewed either from the Keurig or make an entire pot. Then, watch the sun come up and take in the SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the Smokies. Enjoy the relaxing Hot Tub on the wraparound deck or the indoor Jacuzzi all year through or the resort offers all guests a swimming pool in the warmer months. Whispering Pines has been such a wonderful blessing for our family and we are truly SO GRATEFUL we get to share it!!

Whispering Pines offers: TWO COMPLETELY PRIVATE king bedrooms with doors that are separate from other living spaces (we do however have a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress located in the den), two fireplaces, each located in the den and master bedroom, a master bedroom Jacuzzi, a hot tub and 3 king wooden rocking chairs with a side table on a large, covered wrap-around deck to enjoy the gorgeous views, a gas grill, a fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite counter-tops, refrigerator w/ice maker, stove/oven, a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, crockpot, blender, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a loft area with a 5 CD changer stereo, bistro table, board games and pool table, 42” flat screen TV for gaming and flat screen TV's in both the bedroom and 50" flat screen Smart HDTV with a BluRay DVD player in the living room all equipped with a full cable package (top tier movie and sports channels), a DVD library and Free Wifi.

Grill outside did not work. Probably could not figure out the dishwasher. Great stay for sure. Up stairs toilet needs a little attention. Water continues to run. Little normal issues with rental properties. I would 100 percent love to stay here again.

Beautiful and private cabin with comfortable beds and clean facilities. Hot tub was sanitary and relaxing on our chilly Tennessee evenings! Kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. Pillows could have been better, or at least had protective covers over them for sanitary reasons. Otherwise, we have zero complaints and will most definitely stay here again and share our positive experience with others.

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Great communication with Somya. We had a wonderful week. ONLY complaint, the trees really need to be trimmed because the view of the gorgeous Smoky Mountains is blocked for the most part. The cabin would be perfect if it weren’t for the trees.
We even had visitors.

Overall decent stay. Few issues noted. Both shower faucets were loose behind the shower wall. Pull out couch springs are badly damaged and should be replaced. Deck doors by hot tub ( the blind covers are damaged on top ). Also one huge safety concern was the stair railing. It was about to off it used. Needs to be repaired or replaced ASAP.

Cabin was clean and for the most part as described. Does have quite a few things that need repaired but nothing major that impacted our stay. Our only complaint is the listing stating it has great mountain views as it is completely obstructed by trees. If you go to the top level, you can see the mountains but we booked this property specifically for the view on the deck and that was not as shown. Pool area clean. Location great. We saw bears everyday in this area which was pretty cool!

as soon as we approached the property my expectations began to drop, visual signs of needed repair-- the handrail on the stairs leading to the entrance was unstable due to a visible rotted post--a big hole in the exterior wall of the downstairs bedroom was filled with a substance like spray foam and unfinished with rotting wood around it--the bathtub downstairs had two holes that had been crudely patched and was flaking off, the commode ran all the time and the sink was stopped up -the host did send a plumber to clear the clog. I truly hate writing all this negative stuff and I think I could have dealt with everything but when I pulled back the covers and saw hair and some unidentified debris on the sheets I lost it. I'm not sure the owner is aware of the condition of the property because when I spoke with her she seemed surprised and that's a shame because it really could be a lovely place.

The trees off the deck completley block the view of the mountains. In the pictures listed are the view from the 2nd floor windows without a deck up there. Whirlpool bathrub didnt function. Other than those two small things wonderful rental process. Enjoyed our vacation.

Only problem

Everything was as we expected except for the water pressure in the second floor shower. The water pressure in the lavatory was excellent but the shower’s pressure was quite lacking!View- the upper level view was as stated, but the lower view was blocked with trees.

Super cute cabin

Loved our stay at this cabin! We are a family of 4 and had plenty of space. It was really clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We used the hot tub a lot and loved our view. We did have a TV issue but Soumya was quick to respond and work to get our issue fixed. The only critique I would say is that I did try and use the bedroom spa tub a few times, but just wasn’t able to get the water to stay warm long enough to fill it up. I would have been more disappointed about it if we didn’t have the hot tub. Also, having some basic spices/oil on hand in the kitchen would have been nice but otherwise, there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cookware, etc. we had a great stay!

Quick Cozy Getaway

My son and I wanted to get away before the craziness of the holidays. This retreat was exactly what we needed. The location was convenient to all the action on the strip, but remote enough to have privacy. The two king bedrooms was wonderful, and my son felt like a king in the upstairs master. I will definitely book again!

Beautiful Cabin with gorgeous views

We loved this cabin and the views. The location is great. We had a wonderful time. We ran into a couple issues. The sofa bed was broken. My son just ended up sleeping on the family room couch, which isn’t ideal. I think they need to update some of their furniture and it will be 5 stars!
