When we checked in, she was just lounging on the guest couch in front of the front desk with her phone, she looked like we were inconvenience her for checking in, not pleasant at all. 'Really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The only complaint was there is a lot of noise coming from the highway. Not the hotel’s fault and precisely why we travel with our portable fan for some white noise. The breakfast was excellent. '

Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom...
