« My 87yo mother and I were looking for a place in the mountains and the Bird House delivered. Quiet and secluded but only 15mins from Florence it was a wonderful mix of dirty roads and nearby amenities like the Back Yard Taphouse. Dealing with the homeowners and their family was an easy text with quick response. We enjoyed exploring the chicken coop and tree house on the property. « Had a great short stay while visiting family. Even with an infant and a 3-year-old, we felt comfortable and had a nice place to reset. The decor was fabulous, the overall vibe was great. We had to make some adjustments to avoid our kiddos getting into anything but wasn’t a big issue. We also didn’t use the loft, but would be great for older kids or two couples looking to explore the area. »

« What a fabulous place to stay. Very clean and great location. I especially enjoyed the back patio where I set up to work a little and watch the deer come in and out of the yard. Loved the quirky kitchen ceiling decor. Everything we needed was supplied. Our stay was during the 4th of July and the house at end of street had a huge party ( which was ok with us) but they took up the two parking spaces out front. We will definitely check for availability to rebook in the near future. »

Indoor game room and outdoor games, volleyball in the indoor pool, hot tub, fishing in the pond, swings, fire pit and so much more.
