« Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). The property is located at about the 3 mile mark of that float. The other thing we loved about the property was that it was a great place for sitting around a fire at night and having a few beers. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. « This is the second time this year we have stayed at this cabin. Absolutely love it. The weather cooperated allowing us to boat on Raystown Lake and have fires in the evening in the fire ring. We will definitely will be back again! »

« We rented this property after looking at several others for a combined bachelorette/bachelor party for our group of 11. This house was wonderful! There was more than enough room to accommodate our group. The area where it was located was very peaceful and beautiful. The outdoor deck/patio area and fire pit were our favorite from our stay! We would definitely recommend this house to others. »

« The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host. I highly recommend it and will look forward to coming back. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. For a gathering with friends that included a couple children, this was a perfect place. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and the huge dining room table, deck, and firepit were perfect for our group. One thing that I didn't plan for was the lack of cell service -- it was actually nice to be out of reach but I did have to drive to find service in order to pull up the door code to check-in, should have planned for that. « Dawn the host is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very quick response when i had a question. the only issue i had was the bathroom. it needs some attention. stopper in sink doesn't work. tub and shower need work. handle came off in my hand when turning shower on. there is tape around tub to seal the unit to shower and is coming off. »

« Room was clean and relaxing. I love the colors in the room. Great outdoor area with an outdoor fireplace, grill and seating. Really enjoyed the swing on the front porch. Walked across the street and enjoyed dinner at Duffys Tavern. There is also a really neat boutique and bike store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again! »

« My friend and our adult children stayed for the weekend for the Luke Combs concert and it worked out perfect. We had enough space for all of us, the place was very clean. The breakfast items were greatly appreciated and although we didn't need anything, there were even commonly missed items in the bathroom--toothbrushes, floss, etc. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose. »

« Gorgeous location! Spacious and comfortable living area with large kitchen and bathroom for multiple people getting ready for a Penn State tailgate. Beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Host went above and beyond to help us find the secluded location when GPS failed, and very responsive to all queries. Would love to return in better weather with more time to enjoy the property. »
