We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. 'We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house at the end of Water Street. It is ideally suited for viewing of the Old Sow turbulence. I don't think there could be a better viewpoint from the American side. There are at least three lighthouses which can be seen from the house, and both the rising and setting of the sun. And then there's the Bald Eagle which likes to sit on Dog Island and think about life for hours every day.'
