'This resort was small but beautiful! The staff is so friendly and helpful , the room was simple but very clean and perfect for us. It gave a real Costa Rican experience versus a larger more modern resort . Food was amazing 10/10 , drinks delicious, coffee hour was great ! We loved their iced lattes. The beach is beautiful , the staff will bring you chairs and the kayak is free to rent. The resort is very quiet , relaxing and never was filled to capacity . We loved it here and will come back! '

'The view is obviously incredible, which is what the resort relies on. The staff were nice enough, but lacked management and training in certain areas. Had they been more attentive, we would have spent more money. The food was well cooked but the menus are a little odd. After paying so much to stay at the hotel, it's then disappointing to have to compete with public visitors to get tables in the restaurant. 'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'Room with great view over the ocean (just shame that a car park with a container was in the way). Service generally good, depending on which member of staff you got. WiFi is unreliable. Restaurant food generally delicious. Room could be better insulated, I heard the family next door through the connecting door. W’a so-called “Whatever Whenever” service is not really that - I couldn’t get help for even simple things like a stamp for a postcard.'

'Nice room with perfectly renovated bathroom (I had #2). Good air condition and bed. Perfect for a quick early morning drive to the airport. Nice surroundings but close to main thoroughfare and restaurants and just across from downtown. (I brought a sleeping pill to sleep through the moderate street noise). Coffee available in lobby, nice surroundings and friendly bilingual personal, easy check in. Great value, recommended! '
