'Location right to the beach, its a bit older hotel and lunch/dinner could be better'

'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. Hotel meals in the evening are ok and also good prized. The room was nice and spacious. Not all was clean though incl a dark stain in a sheet. Nice pool with beds. Our checkout...

'Super vriendelijke ontvangst met sapje en persoonlijke begeleiding naar de kamer. Het eten is erg goed en `s avonds komen rondom het zwembad de wasbeertjes water drinken en rondscharrelen. Rustig park, af en toe bruiloft op het strand. '

'Mooi resort. Service had er iets meer boven op mogen zitten bij binnenkomst bij zo'n luxe resort. Koffers werden niet aangenomen wisten niet waar we naar toe moesten. Inchecken was zakelijk. Twee keer moeten vragen om een extra bed. Verdere service geweldig. '

'Was a bit disappointed with our stay here. I’d read that the rooms were a bit dated, but it was rundown in aspects as well. The window in our bathroom had a broken hinge, the towels were old and tattered, the faucet discoloured, but the worst part was the bugs in the room. There was an ant (?) infestation - they’d burrowed a few holes into the bathroom doorframe and they were coming in and out of them and we found them in various places around the room. 'Geweldig hotel direct aan het strand. Het strand zelf is rustig en de zee heeft een heerlijke temperatuur. Er komen zelf apen over het terrein 🐒 Ruime kamer met een goede badkamer en een goede douche. Restaurant is ook goed. Zeker een aanrader!'

'The property and location was amazing. Very clean, excellent room. The communication with managment was lacking. The room needs oil, salt/ pepper and a pan for the oven. Seems like they DONT want you to use the kitchen. The market downstairs and the restaurant at the pool over charges to their own detriment. They charged us for a splash of soda in a mixed drink. What's next ? Charge per ice cube ? The cup and straw ? Silly. The strawberries at the market were 14,500 colones . That's 43...

'The Diriá is fabulous! I’ve seen there twice over the last year and I can tell you firsthand. It is the best hotel in town. Everything is walkable but really you don’t even need to go outside the resort they have everything. The location is perfect. The staff is amazing. The buffet is the best in town. I cannot say enough good things about the Diria.'

'Mooi hotel in rustige prachtige omgeving. Strand heel mooi en zeer rustig. Geen opdringerige verkoopwrs. Hotel is verder prima met ontbijtbuffet. Zeer mooie grote kamers. Dorp moet nog wel groeien.'

'We arrived late after a long travel and wanted something close to the airport. We had limited options last minute. The walls in the condo needed a good scrub down. The beds were comfortable and clean. They provided way more than enough towels which was nice. However I felt like the place needed upgrades and wasn’t worth the big price.
