'Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).'

'Spacious room and very comfortable. While outdated, it was also somewhat rustic and quaint in its own way. The rates were excellent for this time of year. Everything was safe and secure for parking, but we did not eat there. It was an hour's drive back to St. John's for a medical appointment, so a little further than we had hoped for. Still, we found it relaxing and quiet in a beautiful and peaceful setting. '

'Great stay for the price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I am only giving 4 stars based on the amount of noise from other rooms. I could hear people being....intimate.... which was awkward. Other than the noise it was a pleasant stay and would stay again'

'I had a pleasant stay here. As a solo female traveler i felt safe and comfortable. The place is old and hasnt been updated but they've done a good job with maintaining the cleanliness. Staff was pleasant. There was a mini fridge, air dryer and microwave which was helpful. It was also really quiet unlike a lot of other placea I have stayed. I would stay here again.'

'Absolutely beautiful rooms and location! We loved staying here. Big rooms with stunning ocean views and a comfortable bed. One thing that could be improved is the hallway needing to be sound proofed. If you are staying in the lodge rooms, you will hear other guests and staff stomping down the halls late at night and early in the morning, which woke us up a couple times.'
