We were expecting the same old traditional motel room set up and instead we got a huge upgrade for the same price. They not only accept pets but expected us to have one with us like that's just what everyone does.'

'What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful.'

'When I tried to get a cart to load my stuff I was told I had to have the Valet staff come with me to load the cart. I did not feel comfortable so we made 3 trips to load the car to leave and drive 7 hours. I was told no when the people in the room across from me come out of their room with a loaded cart and no staff... Hmmm just me or is it truly the policy???'

'On our last 2 stays, AC didn't cool very well and breakfast buffet wasn't kept fully stocked. We stay here often but was disappointed with our last 2 visits.'

'Beautiful historic hotel. Just stayed one night but would stay again. Unique property with old timey touches, like stationary in the room. Staff was very helpful. Brought our luggage up to the room for us and helped load the car when we were ready to leave.'

'Dominque was amazing through the check in process. And the gentlemen/and young lady this morning was also helpful. I do applaud that they were all professionally put together as you don’t see that quote often anymore. The rooms were nice and clean. The only downfall was it confusing connecting to the WiFi. I would suggest using your hotspot.'

'The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds, nice kitchenette, and lots of lights. Staff Very friendly and courteous. Breakfast has a variety of options, served on real dishes. Only downside was waffle batter dispenser wasn’t working so an employee used her fingers ( not wearing gloves) to unplug it. I no longer wanted a waffle.'

'The room wasn’t clean, the sink was stopped up, the AC went out, and I had to repeatedly ask for housekeeping. This establishment has gone down significantly!'

'the valet was good, but expensive. my room was very clean, but the tv’s signal kept going out. they still use cable, so with the fact that the connection kept being lost we couldn’t even use the tv. the beds were comfortable though'
