« This is an excellent place to stay!!! My family and I rented this place for about a week and we loved it. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very peaceful. My wife and I loved to walk to the marsh every morning to see the sunrise. My kids loved the spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. We also loved having access to the pool. « The WiFi never worked. We called, did our own rebooting, waited, texted and in the end gave up. There had been some painting done and there were remnants of paint scraping in various locations (by the way the paint job was terrible- host ought to make them go back and re-do it!) « I have done vacation rentals in Pawleys Plantation many times and the location is wonderful. It is a beautiful gated community. This was the first time that I had to drive to pick up keys to a rental unit. It was 7 miles one way north of Pawleys plantation which was a 14 mile trip added to our already 6 hr. drive which was an inconvenience. « The resort is not handicap friendly, while they might meet the regs they are not friendly to seniors, mobility issues, convenience. Yes we were near an elevator but the pool was at the other end and then you had to park and walk a long distance to the back of building. »
