The house was wonderful! Perfect for our friend-trip. The kitchen and dining area is where we spent most of our time. The space was great and the view out to the backyard was spectacular. Aside from the common area, the downtairs has the primary bedroom with a very large bathroom. The other downstairs room does not have a full bathroom available as there is only a half-bath on the main level, aside from the primary bathroom. Upstairs is 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Great for a large group (we had 6, each getting their own room)!

Our group stayed here for a business trip. We found the home to be nicely located for our needs. It was private and remote. It can be quite dark at night so plan accordingly by leaving outdoor lights on if you're coming back after dark. We tried to grill one night but the outdoor bbq was not equipped with propane. It felt like the home hadn't been rented for a little while but otherwise we had everything we needed.

Great location

We had a great stay overall — the property was comfortable and enjoyable. However, the area overlooking the pool could really use some attention. The trees were overgrown and there were weeds throughout the space. It wouldn't take more than a couple of hours to clean up and would make a big difference in the overall experience. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, but for a VRBO of this size, there weren’t quite enough to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Perfect 60th Birthday Celebration!

Wow! We had the perfect wine country birthday weekend in this beautiful home. 14 of us met up on the circular drive, hauled all essentials in and spent a one of a kind weekend. Cooking, dancing, playing games, hot tubing, laughing, wine tasting, star gazing and planning for the next time we are lucky enough to be together in this gorgeous setting and perfect home. 10 Adults, 3 Children and two dogs spent the Christmas holiday here. Everything was wonderful. AvantStay was very easy to deal with and very quick to respond. House was fully stocked with toiletries, paper goods and kitchen utensils. The two sofas could be upgraded as they are quite low and difficult to get of. Dining chairs and two bar stools were fine but a bit rickety. Didn’t use pool or spa due to season but will when we book for our summer family gathering. Overall a great place for a family gathering. Large, spacious but cozy at same time.

Stunning outside, just okay inside!

There were five couples in our group. The outside property had a beautiful view. It was peaceful and welcoming with lots of gathering areas. The pool was lovely to look at, but to heat it for three full days would have been an extra $1000….,way too much for the cost of this VRBO, it should be included. Inside we had electrical outlet problems, the dining chairs had screws falling out and the counter chairs were so wobbly we couldn’t safely use them. It is very dark inside the house. The living room is beautiful to look at, but the couches need to be replaced. Our group was all in their 70’s and 80’s and we couldn’t get out of them without help…very broken down. The master bedroom bed is very hard and very low to the floor which made it difficult to get out of safely. We have stayed in several VRBO homes and this one has the least amount of simple amenities. No extra spices in the cupboards, no Kleenex, no small waste baskets in any room but the bathroom. I realize those are not that important, but those little extras for a home this costly to rent would make a visit much nicer.

Family Time

Dolcetto was everything that was advertised, and more. The house was perfect for our family - 2 grandparents, 3 siblings and their spouses, and 2 teenaged grandchildren. There was ample room for us, and so much to do -swimming in the pool, outdoor games, pool table, indoor games, beautiful grounds to walk on, and close proximity to great wineries. The kitchen was well equipped, and all 10 of us could sit around the table. I would consider making this a place to vacation every year.

Wonderful Large Home in Paso wine country

We had 5 couples (all in our mid 50’s) spend a long weekend at Dolcetto. In a word, it was fantastic. The house is large and comfortable with more than enough room to spread out and relax. (In fact there was a downstairs ping pong/game room we didn’t even discover until halfway through our stay!). The outdoor space is stunning. Panoramic views from the pool deck and fire pit and well-stocked with outdoor games. We enjoyed morning walks down the very long driveway past the horse stables (fun to watch the jumpers practice). There are a couple lovely wineries within about a 20 minute walk and several others within a 5 minute drive. Some of the furniture and the kitchen cabinets are a little wobbly and are showing their age a bit, but the appliances all worked well and overall the decor is nice, and comfortable. Pool table was a hit and the audio-visual (tv’s and Sonos sound) are great. Be careful that the water can get very hot (not a problem at all, but just for awareness.). We had an issue mid-stay where the circuit breaker for the refrigerator and microwave tripped and the circuit box was in a locked housekeeping cabinet. The property management team responded to our call immediately and was out in 15 minutes to help resolve it. Check in and out was seamless and easy. If you’re looking for a house in the middle of Paso wine country, this is a gem. We’re already talking about when we can rent again.

Heavenly!

I can't speak highly enough about this property and about our experience staying there. There were 8 of us--my husband and me, our three kids, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren (8 and 10). Our goal was just to hang out together and this spot was perfect. Spacious and cozy at the same time, it had everything we needed. I literally can't think of a thing that was missing. The views from the house are breathtaking, the layout of the house offers plenty of privacy and plenty of space for being together. The beds were very comfortable. We cooked all our meals in the wonderful kitchen and ate outside by the pool when it was warm. There was so much do, with the pool and spa, the lawn games, board games, pool table and ping pong tables, the kids were in heaven and the adults were happy and relaxed. We did venture out twice--decided to go wine tasting close by--once to Brecon and once to Oso Libre, both highly recommended. The check-in and check-out procedures couldn't have been easier and the Avantstay folks are super accessible and responsive. The welcome gifts and snacks were a wonderful bonus! We travel a lot and rent a lot of homes around the country and the world and this was one of the absolute best experiences we've had. We're so grateful for the opportunity to have experienced this lovely property.

Great house!

The property and home is beautiful! Kitchen could use some extra attention. Dishwasher wasn’t functioning and some of the cabinets/drawers were broken. But we would definitely return again!
