  • The apartment is located in a very beautiful 17th century building, completely renovated, with elevator. Access is secured by code, intercom and the permanent presence of the caretaker. The apartment enjoys lots of light, calm and a view of the interior courtyard.
    Ideally located in the immediate vicinity of the Temple, Arts and Crafts, Filles du Calvaire, Répubique metro stations. 1 minute walk from the rue de Bretagne and its shops, the Carreau du Temple, the organic market of 'Enfants-Rouges' (oldest market in Paris) and the beautiful Square du Temple as well as the shops on the street Francs-bourgeois, Place des Vosges and the trendiest restaurants in the capital. Supermarket 1 min walk.
    You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay for 2 or 4 people.

The appartment was lovely in a fabulous location. My husband and I enjoyed exploring the Marais, walking everywhere and feeling safe and comfortable. We found all that we needed at convenient shops and markets including the Marche des Enfants Rouge. A new museum for us was the Musee des Arts et Metiers.

The apartment was superior. It definitely had special touches not found in other apartments. The property was very secure. The area, in Le Marais, was terrific, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The owner, Véronique, immediately responded to my questions. I also enjoyed meeting and talking to the housekeeper, who met me when I checked in. I would be happy to stay there again when in Paris.

The apartment was exactly as described; clean and comfortable. We were met at the apartment by the housekeeper. I recommend having her show you how to use the keys as the room key was a little tricky at first.

In a vast sea of Parisian apartment rentals, this one is a standout. The apartment is large and sunny, beautifully furnished, and perfectly equipped for cooking, The apartment's location on a quiet inner courtyard of a stunning historic building could make one forget it is located in one of the city's busiest and most sought after neighborhoods, full of restaurants, markets, and boutiques. Great apartment in a great location!

This is a superb apartment in the heart of Le Marais. Very convenient to restaurants and cafes, and museums too. The host was very accommodating and made sure everything was fine. Highly recommended! We hope to stay there again during our next visit to Paris.

Suited us nicely

Great location within walking distance of the best Paris attractions. Apartment is spacious, sunny, and has windows on two sides that allowed for good air circulation. It’s also within the complex, away from the hustle and bustle on the streets. We were quite comfortable in this well-furnished apartment.

Large Apartment in the heart of Marais

Apartment located on quiet residential street close to great Bistro's and Restaurants. Large apartment with great kitchen, great light from many windows, modern elevator and spacious rooms. We walked to all of our popular sites and restaurants and the Christmas and Bastille markets are close by. Véronique was a perfect host, met us on our arrival and stayed in touch during our visit.

This apartment is the loveliest apartment we've stayed in since 2012, when we began renting in Paris. It is beautifully furnished and there is a lot of space, unlike many Paris apartments.The upper Marais neighborhood is bustling with activity and restaurants, most with outdoor seating. There were at least two bus-lines and three subway lines within a short walk. Our contact was always available to answer questions. She is very friendly and helpful.One issue which was an issue in 2019, is that although there is a washing machine, the "dryer" is a small rack which can only accommodate a limited amount of items. There is, however, a self-service laundry around the corner on rue Charlot.Other than that, we had a ver nice "séjour" on rue Pastourelle.

Beautiful, quiet, and centrally located apartment in the heart of Paris

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is as described and more. The apartment is beautifully decorated and stylish. We enjoyed the decor and attention to detail. The check-in was simple. Veronique gave us the essential information about the apartment and answered our other questions. The apartment is secure, facing a courtyard. Despite all the neighborhood activities (restaurants, bars, cafes), it is quiet. Also, since our trip was for business, we appreciated working spaces (a desk and two tables). The location is excellent, walking distance to various tourist attractions. We highly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, Quiet & Safe Apartment

This property is a "pied a terre" belonging to a family residing in Normandy. So, it's like staying in someone beautiful, fully furnished city home. It's warm and beautifully furnished and decorated. The location in le Marais is excellent with groceries, bakery, galleries, boutiques and dozens of restaurants within a coupe blocks. Situated in the "haute Marais" it's an excellent home base for exploring central Paris. Also, the Picasso Museum and Centre Ponpidou are a short walk away. Another significant plus is Veronique who manages the VRBO stays. She is charming, knowledgeable about the area and makes herself available. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on! Especially enjoyed Camille just a short walk away. I unreservedly recommend this apartment. It cost a bit more than others in le Marais but is worth it due to it's quality, location and excellent management!!

Most Marvelous Apartment

This was my second stay at this apartment. It is marvelous and I highly recommend it. The rooms are large, airy, bright and beautifully decorated with so much closet and drawer space for clothings, purchases and luggage. I felt at home the moment I arrived—I do not eat out at every meal, so the functional and fully stocked kitchen with beautiful dinnerware and glassware is a special touch. The building and courtyard is beautifully maintained and is extremely quiet—never any noise at night. I am a single woman traveling alone—I felt safe and secure in the building and apartment as well as the neighborhood. Although I traveled alone, the apartment is large enough for more travelers to feel quite comfortable. The location is my favorite, easy to walk to so many attractions and the local shops, restaurants and bars are amazing. I cannot recommend the apartment highly enough. Thank you Veronique for your attention to detail and for keeping in touch with me through the entire process of booking, arriving and departing—you made it so simple and you are so welcoming. 3 weeks in Paris

The apartment is lovely and very secure. Neighbors were nice. Veronique was there to meet us and was easy to talk with. Had trouble calling her and sending a message. Nothing serious so this didn’t cause us any trouble. Just surprising not to receive a response. We could not find the location in the basement where we had been told yo take the trash. We suggest a small trash can in the WC. We appreciated having a clothes washer and a dishwasher. The bed was a good sleep. However, there is no box springs. Instead there is a sheet of wood. This made a lot of noise when we turned over in bed. As long as we were still, it was fine. The Marais was easy to navigate. There were many restaurants and bakeries. And a few good markets, plus a very nice park.
