'The room was very basic but clean It is showing some signs of wear, a scrape in paint in the bathroom, the shower curtain rod is rusting. The breakfast was the same every day, no sliced bread for toast, no waffle maker, powdered eggs, shaved bacon sausage alternating. Only vanilla yogurt from a machine. We have been coming here off and on for over 20 years. We noticed the changes.'

'During our short visit to Santa Barbara we stayed at the Sunset. The Motel is only 4km away of downtown and has a nice parking spot in front of it. You can grab also a nice breakfast at the lobby each morning. During our stay we had the suit for ourselves. The room is nice and big but had several problems. The refrigerator was making noise all the time and the air conditioning was in a bad state. Also the noise surrounding the motel was quite loud in the morning. The interior was dated and the...
