'We had a terrible check-in, not the resorts fault but Expedia. We were on the phone for over an hour with expedia customer service goung back and forth about our check in time, but luckily when we got there the worker was super friendly and had everything ready for us. Its a very neat experience and cozy. Very good layout for the size of boathouse so nothing felt crammed. Overall would definitely go again. In fact, we booked another night there.'

'These boathouses were the coolest part of our vacation. They were spotless upon check in and kitchen area had everything you need for your stay. Having coffee on the back of the house watching the Manatees was an added bonus! Check in was quick and easy. The location is perfect! 'De accomandatie ligt niet centraal. In marathon is wenig tot niets te doen en erg weinig diner opties. Key west is ruim 1.5 uur rijden. Het hotel ligt naast een vliegveld. Elke 5 minuten komt er een 1 motorig vliegtuig over. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim. De kamers worden dagelijks schoon gemaakt. Het zwembad is schoon maar diep. Hotel biedt geen ontbijt en is in de buurt ook moeilijk te vinden.'

'Pools closed earlier than advertised. You can’t bring outside food or drink onto the public areas of the property but it took an hour to get one sandwich at the Tiki Bar. Once it came, we had a total of three drinks and shared the sandwich. $90. I reduced it because it took an hour but they still tried to bill me full with non-negotiable , automatic tip even though I reduced it when I signed.'

"Unauthorized charge after checkout! Proceed with caution. I stayed at Banana Bay from Feb 19–22. At check‑in, I was informed of a resort and parking fee totaling approximately $225, which I authorized as a temporary hold on my debit card. I had a trouble‑free stay, left the room in good condition, and checked out normally with a friendly goodbye from staff. However, hours after checkout, Banana Bay increased the charge on my card to over $1,000, without my authorization. Combined with the prepaid stay, this brought the total cost to approximately $2,150 for three nights in a standard room. I immediately contacted the hotel through multiple channels to resolve this, but received no response. The money was taken from my account the next day despite never authorizing this amount. This experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend staying here. Travelers should be very cautious, especially when using a debit card."
