'Great'

'AC worked really well, staff very friendly, smiling and helpful. Clean room and plenty of parking. Walls between rooms are thin, room next to us came in after midnight and had tv blasting till after 3 am. Coffee is very good, available 24 hours, beans are ground to order, always fresh. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area.'

'Parking was easy. The AC Unit was loud and very disturbing when it kicked on, the bathtub was pretty gross. I originally booked a room with 1 King Bed, when I called on my way to confirm my room, as I was arriving late, I was told the King Bed rooms were filled. Which was fine b/c my daughter ended up wanting to stay in the room, but when I got there .. even though they already filled my reserved King Bed Room, they charged me more money for the room with 2 beds ... Bad Business'

'We did not stay at Days Inn, Tuscaloosa, because when we got there at 1:30 am, the hotel was CLOSED. No arrangements had been made for us to stay somewhere else. We were sent to a Microtel across town that no longer exists. The night watchman or whoever he was tried to contact another hotel but could get no answer. 'The floor in the room was coming up. When the light in the bathroom came on the vent automatically came on it smelled like straight up weed. You could have gotten a contact high from the smell. At check in they charged me a 50.00 deposit for a non-smoking room and a pet deposit when it says pets are welcome with no mention of deposit. The front seat hung up 3 times on someone trying to call and make a reservation by phone. They were lucky if they never got through. They said breakfast but...
