Das Zimmer war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Bad wie erwartet spartanisch. Gestört haben nur die sehr unbequemen Stühle auf dem großen Balkon. Frühstück sehr einfach aber für ein paar Tage ok und auch nicht viel mehr erwartet. Das Personal durchweg etwas reserviert, wobei die Reinigungskräfte sehr nett waren. Die Poolbar ist leider der größte Mangel. Die Dame dort hat leider wenig Lust auf ihren Job und es macht gar keinen Spaß sich dort was zu holen. Um 20 Uhr ist dann auch Feierabend. Schade. Am Pool dürfte die Ausstattung an Liegen und Stühlen ruhig etwas großzügiger sein. Die meisten Hotelgäste verbringen dort den Tag ohnehin nur am Pool, warum auch immer.

Great location, service and ammenities

The Evanik Chic Hotel in Pothia (Kalymnos) is a real hidden gem. This charming, modern boutique hotel, with its captivating design, truly sets the standard. The hotel is located in a relatively central part of Pothia. It's just a few minutes' walk to the lively harbor promenade with its numerous bistros and restaurants. The hotel was completely renovated a few years ago. It impresses with its modern design and interior. Our room was the perfect size, with a comfortable shower and a separate toilet. The air conditioning was easy to control individually and worked flawlessly. Overall, everything was very well-maintained and clean. Housekeeping came daily and did a very thorough job. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection and left nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy were the freshly prepared Greek dishes with a local flair, which changed daily. Through the hotel manager's assistance, we had booked a small rental car to explore the island. We were allowed to park the car free of charge in the hotel's own parking lot near the hotel. Last but not least, I must praise the exceptionally good and attentive service provided by the entire hotel staff. This is certainly also thanks to the always cheerful hotel manager, Eirini, who is a true role model. She was always helpful and provided many tips and information about the island. The management of the Michelangelo Hotels & Resorts Group can be proud to have such an excellent hotel manager.
