House was perfect for us. We had 10 guests. The house easily served us well. Check-in was great checkout was great. Layout of house was really good. Master bedrooms were fabulous. It was great having 4 1/2 bathrooms. Highly recommend for large groups.
Iâll start by saying that the home is beautiful and the layout/location was so nice.
Unfortunately there were several issues that were not handled well. When we arrived the downstairs air was not working. We called and someone did come about 24 hours later and fixed it but the first night was extremely uncomfortable. In the meantime we noticed there were only 3 bath towels. We called the management and they said they would have them to us by 9 the next morning but in the meantime âwe could wash those 3 so the 6 of us would have a towelâ. They did not come the next day so I began texting the number provided and didnât get bath towels for over 48 hours. The other issue we had was the ice maker. The freezer would barely open and we werenât able to get it open or to get the ice maker to work. We had a great time despite the rough start but I am unlikely to stay at another place managed by this company. There was no so sorry or any kind of retribution.
Overall a nice place to stay. Flooring downstairs is old and dirty looking. Needs replaced.
Master sink drains slow. Master shower floor is dirty and needs cleaned. Flooring downstairs is a lighter tan that shows the ground on dirt from years of use. Needs to be placed very soon, especially contact add ring the high rental rate for the property. I would not stay in the sea rest area again. Too far away from beach and there are too many renters that are trying to use a small designated beach area that is too small for the large numbers of renters wanting to use the beach. Private beaches on both sides of the Seacrest beach area make the Seacrest beach area too small for the large number of renters wanting to use the beach.
Pros: location, tram service, plenty of rooms for our party of two families (4 adults, 2 toddlers, 2 infants). 2 pack n plays on site. Plenty of bath towels. Beach chairs provided which was nice. Vacasa was pretty responsive to addressing needs/concerns.
Cons: check-in process not clear in welcome email. Didnât know we had to check in with Seacrest guest services. Grill was not cleaned and propane was empty. Got locked out of the garage⊠no garage code provided. No beach towels as advertised. Stove/cook surface super uneven re cooking. Mattresses lumpy/worn and Not comfortable. No smart TVs on site.
Only change that would benefit would be faster turnaround time on advance inquiries weeks before arrival. I emailed a few times and would receive a partial answer weeks later or not at all regarding questions about the property
