The home owners of The Shag Lover spend a lot of time here themselves. They have invested a great deal of heart and soul into this property - so you know the home is livable, comfortable and the kind of place where you can put your feet up, relax and unwind. No fuss. No worry. Just easy living and good vibes. The very private yard is walled and gated for privacy and features an inground pool and spa, fire feature and outdoor dining. This is the type of vacation home people return to year after year.

The home has been completely remodeled - yet still honors the midcentury architecture - preserving Mr. Trousdale's vision of clean lines, open spaces, clerestory windows and walls of glass that blur the lines between indoor outdoor living.

You'll find a new kitchen and bathrooms, high-speed internet, 4 flat screen TVs and. The living and dining are open to each other - perfect for spending time with your entire group. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a gas range and gleaming quartz countertops. And in true Palm Springs style, the entire back of the house has walls of glass that reveal the sunny pool and patio area.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each of the three bedrooms has a hotel-quality mattress, flatscreen TV and ample storage. The Master Suite offers a King bed, ensuite bath and direct pool access. The second and third bedrooms have Queen beds and easy access to the hall bathroom.

Shag Lover is centrally located in the Tahquitz River Estates Neighborhood. Its mid city location is softened by privacy walls, mature plantings and towering palm trees. This really is the ideal location for those who want to be close to everything. Palm Springs is at your fingertips if you ever decide to leave the privacy and comfort of your pool yard. Shag Lover is very close to restaurants, shops, boutiques, galleries, the casino, convention center, cabarets and all the fun of Palm Canyon Drive! Grocery stores, casual restaurants, coffee places and other neighborhood conveniences are all nearby.
