Blokhutten in West-Maryland

'This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

'Room was clean and had all the things. We purposely picked a cottage with a hot tub with a lake view which rocked. The hottub is also covered from rain with the cottages extended roof. However parking spots are directly in front of your view of the lake. So hopefully you can park in other spots. Also, weirdly, they only provided one trash bag? So good luck on clean up I guess. We also received a bunch of agreements and disclosure via text notification a little under an hour before check-in...

'The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless. The host is awesome and responds quickly to any concerns or even just recommendations of the area. We stayed here and ventured out to the nearby trails and small towns. Our time at and around the cabin was very enjoyable.'

'We really enjoyed our time and would recommend anyone to rent here as it’s very cute! The bed was very comfortable in the case is a big plus, This place won’t disappoint you it’s a great couples get away'

'The structure was good but it's a lot darker inside than expected, even with all the lights turned on. There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done. There were cobwebs all around the outside of the door and the front porch which could be cleaned up with one quick brush. Also, and I fully understand that it is an animal friendly property, but the smell of wet dog was so...

'Clean rooms and towels. Comforting but very roomie.'

'We stayed in this home (sponsored by Tony’s Blue Maple company) as we have stayed many times in his rental properties. This means, I trust his homes and the people that work there to make my stay top notch & safe. The place was amazingly clean. The beds were very comfortable and fresh. The AC units were working great as we stayed during a very humid and heat wave time 6-29-26 through 7-3-26. It was miserable outside and comfy in the house! We had an issues with the WIFI and took about...
