« Loved having an environmental lake to ourselves! Peninsula is irregularly shaped so you can meander around in the provided kayaks to different nooks & crannies. So fun to float mellowly before sunset when birds start roosting and beaver slaps its tail… (Lake is very clean but there’s shore vegetation; we were not intrepid enough to wade in to swim, but the frogs were happy.) « Two of us stayed at this cozy cabin while exploring the Detroit Lakes area, specifically searching for the DL Trolls (project 412). The cabin is a traditional “old school” kind of place. Small rooms but fine for two people. The screened porch and deck overlooking the lake were the highlights. There could be a few more glassware options and there are no closets to hang clothes. But overall it was the kind of “little cabin on the lake” experience we were looking for. »

« This was the perfect spot for our family! Everyone had their own space and place to sleep. Ammenities were the best! Hot tub was great at night watching the stars, we cooked dinner on the grill. « This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again. »
