We planned our first family trip this January and, like most people heading to Disney, staying at a resort is usually what everyone recommends. But honestly… we are so glad we didn’t listen. 😉
We knew we hit the jackpot the minute we pulled into the neighbourhood. It’s beautiful, quiet, and just had that “okay, this was a good decision” feeling right away.
To say this home checks all the boxes is probably an understatement. We’re a family of four with a 9- and 11-year-old, and our kids absolutely loved having their own rooms—with double beds and TVs. That alone felt like a big win.
The home itself was spotless and just really thoughtfully set up. It actually felt like a home, not a rental. Everything we needed was there—even things we didn’t expect, like a net to catch a gecko (which the kids thought was hilarious) and ponchos for those rainy park days.
And the lanai… honestly, a Canadian dream. A screened-in space, a heated pool, a comfortable sitting area, palm trees all around—it was the best place to unwind after long days at the parks.
Julie and John are just genuinely lovely people. They answered questions quickly and gave us great recommendations for things to do around Orlando, which we really appreciated.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. If you’re debating resort vs. villa, this made that decision very easy for us. We’d go back in a heartbeat. like really, can we please go back now!?!?
