'In theory, this is a fantastic place to stay. Wonderful property, great amenities, private location. The issue is in the condition of the house itself. One of the first things that greeted us was 4 overflowing trash bins outside, ransacked by animals. Walking inside we immediately found that the house had many things that are half finished. Trim work missing, paint incomplete and hazardous problems all over (sliding screen doors coming off the tracks, door handles falling off, electrical wires...

'We truly loved this spot for our small family getaway. The host was so communicative and made it an easy process. The biggest and unexpected delight was the beach. There is a great little sand beach right on the lake and because the lake is shallow my kids could go in safely. They played in the sand for hours.The house itself was nice, well decorated, and clean. It honestly was bigger than I expected. It also had a lovely view of the lake where we had coffee each morning. Overall great...
