Tucked away along the banks of a beautiful creek, this Ooltewah, TN, vacation rental is the rejuvenating retreat you’ve been waiting for. ‘The Mill House’ sits nestled in the peace and tranquility of the forest but is only a drive away from plenty of city adventures in Chattanooga. Bring your fishing gear and spend some time angling by the water, unwind on the screened porch and enjoy the scenery, or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub under the stars. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin has it all!

Awesome place to relax.

Love staying at this place! Beautiful property and felt very secluded, but only a couple of miles from everything you might need! Place was very clean, and the hot tub was a dream. Very quiet, and peaceful and the creek running by the house was beautiful. Hope to stay here again in the fall or winter!

Loved it!

Wonderful, secluded, peaceful place yet right off the interstate and close to many things. The kitchen was well equipped and the Wi-Fi was good. Three porches all with a view of the creek, add a hot tub and what more could you want?

Quiet with access to everywhere

The creek is lovely to splash or fish in. The screened porch was where we spent most of our time. Our host came and greeted us ans even sent over a text about local weather channels to watch when there was a storm. He also advised on fishing spots on the creek. Also the hot tub was nice. The whole place was super clean and modern.

Perfect getaway!

We had a great weekend away at this property! It was charming, cozy, and clean. I especially loved the outdoor amenities - hot tub and screened in porch overlooking the water. Didn't get to spend as much time with those as hoped because it was pretty cold.

Family Vacation

Loved the property and the house! There was fishing for the boys, hot tub for the teens and adults and plenty of yard for the kids to run around and play. The property owner felt like the uncle in Tennessee I’ve never had! Haha! House is was stocked with household supplies and made it very convenient and affordable to stay! We are wanting to make this place a yearly stay.

This cabin was our granddaughter’s first choice for vacation this year. We were here a couple of years ago & she asked to come back. She loves sitting on a rock on the side of the creek. There is a large area that we could walk our dogs. The screened in area overlooking the creek was my favorite. The cable is in an excellent location.

Perfect Private Spot

This location was a halfway spot between our group of friends and we were shocked at this space. The creek, the mill, the screened in deck... it's all so peaceful! And I'm sure in the summer, when the leaves fill the trees, you feel like you're totally in nature alone. We were close to everything we needed without feeling like it. Truly can't wait to book again.

Nice getaway

Nice place to stay for a few days with the dog. Quiet. It is far enough from anywhere, but you can get to Publix and restaurants in less than 10 minutes. Creek is nice to look at and listen to. You are not going to catch much in the creek, but you can drive to good spots in less than 30 minutes.

Awesome place for family

I was there with my 2 daughters and granddaughter! My granddaughter is 19 and loves being outdoors, this place was prefect! She lives walking along the creek! We lived the privacy of the place, it was at a dead end road but no one was coming in and turning around because you were off the road enough that no one was using the road as a turn around!! Also the location was awesome!! Very nice neighborhood so we felt safe!! Close enough to attractions, so it didn’t take but about 30 minutes to get to look out mountain or the aquarium at Chattanooga!! We will definitely be back to this cabin!! If you are looking for privacy this is the place!!

This property is a wonderful place to take your furry friends. The grounds are well kept with plenty of room for long walks. Even had turkeys coming into the yard…which fascinated our pooches. It’s a little bit of a drive into Chattanooga, but not too bad. We enjoyed exploring and visiting the attractions.

Great Getaway with Tourist Attractions Close Enough

Overall we greatly enjoyed the Mill Creek Home! It was everything we wanted! We were able to relax in the peaceful nature but also visit some attractions. We were able to have some home cooked meals with the stocked kitchen and grocery store being nearby when we wanted to stay home. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to replace faucets in the bathrooms and put a better light outside in the front and the back for the outdoor activities to happen later in the evening or early in the morning.

Beautiful serene vacation spot

My husband and I were looking for a quiet location to stay while we attended a saddlebred horse-show in nearby Cleveland. This was the perfect place for us to unwind. Very clean. The owner took time to tell us the history of the old mill on the grounds which was quite interesting. Listening to the creek in the mornings from the screened in porch truly special.

Beautiful and secluded place. Perfect if you don't need luxury and are looking for something of the beaten pass. Although the larger holes were fixed, the screened in Lanai does have some smaller holes in it and that was the only downside to our stay as a few mosquitos did find their way in. The beds are comfortable and everything you'd need was there. The hot tub was also very enjoyable. We will definitely be back as our newborn granddaughter lives close by.

The Mill House was clean with a phenomenal property with a surrounding creek. It was at the end of a no outlet street so privacy was not an issue. We were very happy with the Mill House and will book it again the next time we are in the area
