'Rooms were not the cleanest, sheets and blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. Shower curtains were stained. Service never came to clean room or bring clean towels'

'It was historic, quiet, simple and priced great. The owners are great and very cordial. The outside of the hotel looks like a palace and has been around a very long time. Love the stone and stone lions.'

'Condition of Air conditioning was very poor. Was making lots noise. We couldn’t sleep. There was spider web at few spots and spider as well.'

'Have stayed here many times and would happily go back. A gem of a place in the heart of one of the best college towns! Every room is unique, quaint and charming. Breakfast is delicious and sitting on the porch with a glass of wine is simply perfection. Highly recommend. Go Hoosiers!'

'It was okay'

'GREAT location to IU Bloomington for Family Weekend—GREAT last minute price (day of—do not pay crazy prices beforehand). Would not pay this much for this hotel otherwise—but, lots of space, clean room, many restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Able to bring our dog. Plenty if space for our daughter to visit and spend time with us. Do notice the somewhat worn conditions of some things. Just fyi—boil water advisory while we were here. Set your child up with a...

'Stayed four days and never had room cleaned. Had to ask for extra towels and some toilet paper. Dirty vents and wood floors. Thin bed linens. Horrible bathroom door and a toilet so low it must have been from the 50s. No computer ports. And my charger kept falling out of plug. Needs some serious refurbishing. When we arrived to our room the door was ajar and a water bottle on nightstand. Pillow cases on inside out. Limited drop off parking. AND…my bill was paid in full on my credit card weeks...

'Very clean and cozy room. Quiet. Friendly staff.'

'Very nice staff and clean property.'

'The room was not clean. Kitchenette was fine probably doesn’t get used much and convenient. Bathroom was horrid there was dust on upper cabinet space. Seriously a simple wet rag would take care of that but it looked like ornament been touched in a very long time which concerns me for the rest of the room. I was seriously afraid to sleep in the beds and carpet in the room in a college town is also concerning'

'Great Location.'

'The staff were kind, and the place was clean and managed well, especially for the price bracket I was looking for. However, it is a cheaper option for a reason. The TV was glitchy. There were only two pillows to each queen bed, and though they were soft they were divided between three of us and they flattened so much it was less than comfortable. They knew three people would be in the room but there were only the standard 2 sets of different sized towels waiting. And the staff member I saw...
