« I highly recommend staying here over a standard hotel room. The owners do not speak English (which is perfectly fine, but I know some people are shocked when Japanese locals only speak Japanese lol). What I loved most is how convenient the location is. « Tradition ancient Kyoto-style house in great location. Parking space right outside the house. Spacious living room and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with tableware, cookware and seasonings. Narrow and slanting staircase to 2F so must be very careful when walking up and down. »

« It was a great property for a large group that expressed the unique culture of Kyoto. Nice local cuisine options in the area and is a decent area as a hub after a day's activities. The one caveat is that depending on your schedule it may be easier to cab rather than take the local buses nearby. »

« This was such a cool spot. It is in such a convenient area with a konbini and lots of restaurants all near by. The house overlooks a school yard which is honestly kinda cool to see what japanese culture is for school kids. Its also a great view of the sunset. The homeowners were very communicative with all of our questions and very helpful. Cant recommend this property enough! »
