« Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

« The property was lovely with beautiful views of the water. It was very private and perfect for a weekend getaway. The only hiccup was the WiFi. It was too weak to make it through a movie using either our computers or their own ROKU system. Loading was slow. They need to up their WiFi strength and put in extenders so that you can use the WiFi in the back bedroom. Otherwise are stay was perfect. »

« Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

« We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. « The pictures do not do this place justice it is more beautiful in person. The host was great! Had a really fun time here, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on the fence about it. It’s not to far from anything you’d wanna see here at the national park as well. »

« We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Like some other guests mentioned, having Wi-Fi or a few board games available would be a nice touch for the quiet moments. A new set of skillets in the kitchen would also be a much-appreciated upgrade. Overall, a great stay with just a few small suggestions to make it even better. »

« Beautiful home!!! Very spacious for the 3 of us. Nice and quiet neighborhood. 8 minute drive to every shop/store your heart desires. We enjoyed our stay. If I have a similar event some time down thr road, I hope this place will be avaliable because im booking it guarantee! Oh and 1 more thing, its the small thing. Appreciate how after a long, hottt day, it was nice to check in and the house was nice and cool. AC was on and it felt like paradise lol. Thank You!!!!!!!!!! »

« It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. The high tide and low tides were an adventure especially as it was full moon. The surprise on the last few days was the view of Mt. Rainer. Thank you Robert for a great place to stay will be telling friends about it »

« This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. « Peaceful. Quiet. Spectacular lake view. It’s worth the steps (51, we counted ) to go for a swim or a float. The second week of September and the water temp is just fine. The bed downstairs is big and very comfortable. There is an A/C unit in every room, which is a nice feature. Also liked the newer fridge and updated shower. »

« It was as seen in the picture given and the view was so wonderful . It was off season so no one else was around if you came in summer not sure I would like to rent at that time . The driveway was hard as we have a small low car but we walked down which was fine. No wifi but that was all good for us as we watch a couple of movie . In all great place and house was really comfortable. »

« I HIGHLY recommend this property!! From the spotless home, to the very thoughtful plethora of amenities, and wonderful host communication, we will definitely be back! The kayaks and hot tub made for great family memories. We were so comfortable in this peaceful setting. This place is definitely a gem worth staying! Stay here! You will not be disappointed! »
