Great stay -- very walkable, clean, and comfy
Overview: Spent a week here w my husband & 2 kiddos for our family vacay. First time to OOB. The house was perfect for our family. The bedroom w/the bunkbed was so nice -- my 7yo felt like she had her own room with the bunks and my 13yo still felt like she had a lot of privacy. Two full bathrooms made getting ready a breeze. Very clean throughout, great temp control with mini-splits. Beds comfy for all of us. The king was softer than we use at home, but neither of us felt it was an issue. We had a great cookout on the deck. Kitchen: Very well-appointed, everything you could need from toaster to blender to mixing bowls and strainers. This is also the first time I've had a rental with really good kitchen knives, a huge plus. Location: Our usual beach spot is in NC and is oceanfront, so I was worried about this walk, but it turned out to be no problem at all, good sidewalks. With kids we got to the beach in approx 10 min, an adult or two could get there much quicker. Walk to the beach is downhill, we had a wagon for taking chairs, etc. The walk back is uphill, but not terrible and kids did fine. There are also a few stores you can easily walk to. Friendly Market is open until 10pm daily & is a great little bodega, 7 min walk. Tami Lynn's became a favorite dinner spot for take-out, 5 min walk, pizza is the best on the beach. Pier is 15-17 min walk.Cons: Very few, would not stop us from returning. Some dresser drawers are hard to open. Owners very attentive, great house.
