'Arrival was rough: the address listed on VRBO was wrong, leading us to the neighboring property to the north (which has two cabins) at 11pm. I walked into one before realizing it wasn't ours. The property manager was nice and called back, but didn't realize the address was wrong. He guided us by phone through spotty cell service to the correct house to the south (actual address 8696), which was hard to find in the dark due to a split driveway.There were only 4 towels for an 12-person property,...

'My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The pictures and description are totally accurate. The home was clean, well furnished and as comfortable as home including the beds. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the linnens were fresh, new and plush. The shower is spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The screened porch was wonderful to sit out in the afternoon and watch the leaves fall in the breeze. (We were there early October). We found lots of...

'Excellent host and accommodations.'

'The location is nice and the view is lovely. Steep stairs to the water. Carpet (white) was quite dirty. Water was not potable but bottled water was provided. Minor issues like faucet handles were broken and lights burned out should have been attended to. Many windows couldn’t be opened. The boat in the slip had mechanical issues so not rentable. It was a nice enough place but over priced. That said our family still had a good time. The host was very friendly and accommodating.'
