'My family and i had a great time at the house. The location was amazing- just a quick walk to the beach. We only wished the downstairs was fixed up a bit so we could have hung out with our pups - but they still enjoyed watching everything from the porch. Would definitely return!'

There was visible dust on the curtains downstairs, and the curtains upstairs were dirty. There were tons of ants throughout the yard and bugs were a constant issue in the downstairs bathroom. 'We loved our recent stay at the Silver Palms Cottage. The property was exactly as pictured and described. It was located in the more residential area of Oak Island which was fine with us, we enjoyed the quiet away from the tourists. However, it was a short ride to the beach (10 min). There is an option to rent a golf cart onsite. The home was spotless and comfy with attention to details. 'Our family really enjoyed our stay at banana pancake over the forth of July. It was extra nice to include our family dog this year as well! The porch was definitely our favorite because even though we were there in plus 100 temps the ocean breeze can be felt and kept us comfortable while enjoying the ocean view. The beach is literally just a few steps away! Great communication with the owner who was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!'
