The Space:

Welcome to Lemon Twist Bungalow! This adorable coastal retreat is tucked among Carolina foliage on beautiful Oak Island, NC (OKI). It offers the perfect blend of beachside living and natural serenity, just steps from the Davis Canal walk-over and only a short walk to the beach. Lemon Twist Bungalow is a wonderful place to create lasting memories with family or friends. Located near the Davis Canal, you’ll enjoy easy access to the beach strand right from the back door. Take a leisurely stroll to soak up the sun, swim in the ocean, or walk along the shoreline. As you cross the canal walkway, you’ll be treated to peaceful water views, coastal wildlife, and spectacular sunsets (and sunrises for early risers). You may spot waterfowl, crabs, and other native wildlife along the way. One of the biggest perks of this location is being just two short blocks from the 19th Street Beach Access, which is handicap accessible and only steps from the Ocean Crest Pier.



Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the cookware, dishes, and utensils needed to prepare meals at home. A large round dining table provides ample space for meals, games, or gathering together. When it's time to take the fun outside, fire up the gas grill on the side porch for easy outdoor cooking. When it's time to reconnect, the home's spacious living room offers plenty of seating for your group and a large smart TV. With two bathrooms (one recently fully renovated), plus an outdoor shower, there’s plenty of space to get ready for beach days or evenings out exploring the island. After a full day, retreat to comfortable sleeping spaces designed with families and groups in mind. The primary bedroom has a king bed plus full-size bunk beds. The guest bedroom has a queen bed plus twin bunk beds. Both bedrooms feature internet-enabled TVs ready for your streaming services.



After a day in the sun, unwind in the large private hot tub located off the side porch. For some friendly competition, enjoy the foosball table in the garage, perfect for kids and adults alike. Or relax on the large front porch, rocking in a chair with your morning coffee or winding down with your group in the evening. **Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**



**Up to two pets are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**



The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Oak Island is a beach town that is separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. Known primarily as a family beach town, it offers plenty of activities throughout the summer, including a variety of marathons/5Ks, live music, farmers markets, and more. The Intracoastal Waterway is popular for kayakers and fishing, and the town has plenty of golf courses, nature walks and biking for those who like to stay on land.

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.



The following violations may be subject to additional fines: unregistered pets, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.



High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
