« This home is truly that, a welcoming escape nestled in the woods. It’s elevated beach-style furnishings feel hand-picked. We traveled with a 14 month old — the house had high-quality baby must haves, pack and play and high chair. We had the pleasure of a responsive host and caretaker. Close to trails, YMCA and the island’s top attractions

« We loved staying at the Carousel House. It’s a great place in a perfect location and was very clean. Just keep in mind you have to bring your own sheets and towels or rent them. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back! »

« The house is excellent - exactly as promised and Marcia was wonderful about preparing us and responding to our questions.The neighborhood is quiet and shady and both the front porch and the back deck were great places to hang out.Down town Oak Bluffs is very close, excellent restaurants and shops and open spaces and I had no problem charging at the library.Everywhere on the island is close and lovely and the weather was fantastic. »

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy check-in and host instructions. Great sunrise views. Easy walk to the best of Oak Bluffs. On bus route for easy access to the rest of the island and to airport. Kitchen was well equipped with necessary housewares. WiFi was excellent. The house is a beautiful vintage Victorian with the quirks of an older home built in 1870, such as limited electrical outlets and uniquely located bathrooms. After first night felt like home.
