« We absolutely loved our stay here. We definitely want to come back. We had just gotten married the week before and we’re looking for some peace and quiet and this was perfect. I love all of the character this place has. It was so comfortable and cozy! »

« First, when we visited, there was a new set of stairs down to the water that were excellent. Second, the water pressure in the shower was amazing.The cabin is plain, but very functional. The location is quiet, very quiet. There are cars going by on the road but very few. There are boaters on the lake, but only a couple at a time. One night the loons were out and it was very nice. If you take the stairs down to the bottom and the weather is clear, you can see Katahdin.I would stay there again. »

« We loved our stay at camp my own! Such a cute and cozy place and perfect for my husband and two dogs. We brought our boat and did a lot of fishing. Lots of small mouth! The place is amazing being right on the water and we loved hanging on the dock. Such a special spot ! »

« This is a cabin on a lake. It's simple. No tv, microwave, washer/dryer or dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. It was super clean. Basic cooking needs. Sometimes you need to be creative. The outdoor grill worked great. Best of all is the lake! Crisp clean water! Lots of fish caught off the dock. Definitely recommend!! »

« This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The neighbors' views are blocked by trees. The view of the lake through the huge picture windows is amazing. We especially appreciated having a washer & dryer -- no trips to a laundromat! We swam & canoed and every question for the owner was answered promptly. »

« Awesome place, tons of space! Check-in/out was super easy, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend it, especially if you're into sledding – the trail's right across the street! Bear mountain BBQ is right next door which was super convenient and the food was phenomenal! »

« We had a great time in Maine snowmobiling. The cabin was beautiful nestled in woods along a lake. It was well equipped and close to Shin Pond and trail system. The owner was very accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! »

« The cabins were clean and cozy. Convenient to store and restaurants. Price was reasonable. I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. But the heat lamps in the bathroom were wonderful after returning from a COLD ride!! Would definitely stay again. »

« We had a short stay here at this cabin so we would ride the trails with our side by side! It was a cute cabin with many beds for family and pet friendly which is very important to us. This area of Maine is beautiful and relaxing - people are friendly. The trails are groomed nicely the lookout was cool! Thank you Tom for all your help with check in! The kitchen was huge and table beautifully made! Lots of charm and character you can tell the family that owns it spent many years making cherished...

« A GREAT place !!!! GREAT LOCATION!!! Lots to do at the lake (swim, kayak, fish, tan) and in town (Loon Fest, Wing Wah). My family and I enjoyed it immensely. Enough room to stretch out, great wrap-around porch for a peaceful AM cup of coffee. Minor suggestions: have screens in all windows (to include upstairs) for all around cooling, and have brighter light bulbs in the living and dining areas. »

« Nice place, listing was mostly accurate, quiet and peaceful (though I was late in the season). Only issues were the somewhat "wonky" thermostat and the constant gurgling of the kitchen sink drain. »

« This was the perfect spot to rest and relax. Great proximity to Mt. Katahdin for all you hikers! The setting could not have been more peaceful and serene! The camp is adorable and so comfy and the views of the lake are stunning! Loved being right on the water!! »

« Had a very nice, relaxing time. Cabin was clean and organized. The road getting to the cabin was off roading so AWD/4WD SUV/Truck is required. The lake was relaxing, the fire pit was great. The dog loved it. Jerry’s is the grocery store in town and was fantastic. Highly recommend. »

« We love it here at Schoodic Lake the house is beautiful and perfect for my family! It’s not far from my aunt Cindy Davis who lives on the lake view side of Schoodic lake so we just take are 4wheeler through the trails by Wildwood and go visiting! There are some many trails by us to ride on my family and I enjoy are trip to Maine every year and we are already booked for next year!!! Can’t wait to come back next year and for years to come!!
