« I made a reservation through Expedia/VRBO, and the host canceled less than 24 hours before check-in without providing any explanation. When I contacted Expedia, they were not aware that the reservation had been canceled. I then contacted VRBO, where the listing was posted. VRBO was unable to reach the host to determine the reason for the cancellation and could only confirm that the reservation had been active and fully confirmed in their system. « We all really liked the house, the view was amazing, neighborhood is quiet, house had a little side yard for the dogs (no fence). Be prepared for a lot of stairs leading up to the house and stair inside to get to the bedrooms. Kitchen had everything you need as to dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware. Fireplace in the living room was amazing addition for chilly nights. Plenty of parking and fairly close to lake and casinos. »
