'The property is beautiful with fun shops to explore and wonderful restaurants to enjoy with both indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I took the gondola to the top where we enjoyed the views and a hike. When it was time to check-in to the hotel the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful offering advice on breakfast options. This part of the trip was 5 starts. Our trip dropped to 1 star at 2 am when a loud and boisterous crowd arrived in the room above ours. I made a call to...

'Jammer dat we hier maar 1 nacht verbleven. Wát een fijn verblijf. Heel kleinschalig en rustig. Fijne jacuzzi, zwembad en ‘s avonds een kampvuur. Genoeg parkeerruimte (voor ons huisje). Zou er zeker terugkomen!'

'The key cards didnt work so every time we entered our room, from the swimming pool, hiking, dinner we had to go to the front desk and ask for thrm to be set after standing at our door trying them. A wedding used all of the area around the pool and you can hear other guests stomping their feet at night. Little sleep. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were a bright spot. Run down furnishings in the room for the cost.'

'Not sure why Expedia gave it such a low rating. This hotel was cute, very clean and updated. The staff was extremely friendly as well. We were worried given the low rating but pleasantly surprised to walk into the room!!!!!'

'The room was on the lakeside of the property, but very little view. The room itself was just ok. Out of date VHS with small TV. Bed ok. Freezer door in fridge was broken and would not stay shut. On the upside, the property location on the lake was excellent. Nice pier and peninsula grass area. The chairs on shore provided a nice area for relaxing and watching the sunset. Lake Tahoe itself never disappoints!'
