'View from balcony and evening fire with s'mores was excellent. Room 108 was dated with musky smell. Bed mattress was a 1*. Spent the night before travel to the island and location was good.'

'Very clean well maintained vintage/historic motel (dating back to 50s/60s as I understand it). My parents stayed here on a vacation in mid 60s. It is close to beach park with great views of macinac island and bridge and convenient location for local restaurants and island ferries.'

'Het hotel is leuk maar wel verouderd. De ligging is geweldig met uitzicht vanaf je balkon op het meer. Er is een strandje waar je lekker kan wandelen. Restaurant naast het hotel heel goed. Naar het dorpje kan je ook lopen. Het zwembad is echt smerig, veel haar in her water en veel teveel chloor. Gelukkig is het meer zalig schoon en blauw!'

'Cute renovated motel rooms. There was a vintage Magic Chef cookstove that had working burners, there were pots and dishes so we could cook our corn on the cob dinner. Quiet, safe location. Only small thing is that there is a window air conditioner, so if you sleep in the bed by the window then it blows all night right on or over you. If the weather is cooler, this would not be relevant. Bathroom is small but everything works including the shower, good water pressure. Great for an overnight...

'The room was very clean, staff is friendly, outdoor pool clean, the landscaping is pretty and outdoor setting was nice. You can walk downtown and you are across from the beach. It was a perfect place for us to stay.'
