We asked for a vegan breakfast, and the staff, since they weren't sure what we would eat, asked what we loved and ensured we got it. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. 'Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch! I would recommend...

'This was the best hotel in our Europe tour. Villagge where hotel is, is lovely, small village in the middle of mountains. Room had it's oen kitchen so I could made my own breakfast, which was good cause breakfast was served starting 9.00 am .. I wake up at 4.30 so I couldn't wait that long to get something to eat. 😄 I will come here again.. loved it!'
