« Staff was amazing. Only issue we had was the bed I slept in. The bed mattress would not stop sliding, staff helped fix it but it was still sliding. I would have given at 4 for the bed situation but the staff's friendliness and hospitality got a 10 from me to pull up score to a 5. I hope to stay at this hotel again someday. Thank you »

« As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...
