'Our stay in Hawaii was absolutely magical. Having this lovely lil bungalow that includes a kitchen, laundry and beach front access was the perfect home base for all of our adventures. Hosts communicate really well and give great tips for local finds!'

'A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.'

'The property lists a kitchen but there is not. The is a refrigerator, plates/cups/etc and some plug in appliances, but washing dishes in a tiny bathroom sink was not ideal. There was laundry accessible and the house was very safe and comfortable during a hurricane. Just beware that if you are looking for a kitchen, there isn’t really. Otherwise the property was perfect for our stay.'

'Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment just a few minutes drive from Hilo town center. This is set in a lovely location with lots of space and lovely surroundings including a view of the ocean. Raul was very responsive whenever we needed anything. We arrived early and we were very appreciative of the fact that we were able and welcomed to check in early. The dining table on the covered patio was very nice to have and their neighbors have goats that we enjoyed seeing munching on the landscape. The trade...

'Expedia was the problem for the check-in process. If your travels take you to Hilo, this is the place to stay. It’s on quite possibly the most beautiful neighborhood in Hilo. Beautiful setting and great hosts. There is quite a bit of coqui frogs and it sounds like a frogpocalyose. Lol but after the first night, we slept through it. Truly awesome lodging option! Brand new rooms. So nice. 10+ AAA+'
