    De 6 slaapkamer villa van Smoky Mountain Villas is een blokhut / chalet met elegantie en adembenemende uitzichten om elke hoek. Ligt op 32 acres, Smoky Mountain Villas is een vredige en rustige omgeving voor een uitje. Dit is perfect voor het meer minnaar, de berg minnaar, of hen die enkel van een prachtig uitzicht die op zoek zijn naar een rustige omgeving. Onze villa beschikt over mooi houtwerk in ruim 5.700 m² aan ruime woonruimte en biedt toch een ontspannen en gezellig gevoel.

    Als je door de voordeur wordt u begroet door de ruime woonkamer / grote zaal en het is een prachtig vloer tot plafond raam uitzicht op de belangrijkste kanaal van Douglas Lake. De woonkamer / grote kamer is voorzien van een gezellige zithoek en een open haard die zeker is om de belangrijkste ontmoetingsplaats zijn tijdens uw verblijf. Uit aan de rechterkant is de master bedroom (gelegen op de begane grond) en aan de linkerkant is de eetkamer en een volledige keuken. De master bedroom is voorzien van een luxe kingsize bed, 40 "flatscreen HD-televisie, openslaande deuren naar het grote balkon en prachtig uitzicht op het hoofdkanaal. De master badkamer is voorzien van een jacuzzi bad en douche. Onze keuken is volledig uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft om zich thuis voelt, waaronder: oven, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster, potten, pannen, bekers, borden en bestek. Voorbij de woonkamer is het hoofddek / balkon dat Douglas meer en de aanlegsteiger gebied onder uitkijkt. Met 3 verdiepingen, de bovenste verdieping heeft twee extra kamers die elk een indrukwekkend uitzicht op Douglas meer, kwaliteit beddengoed, flatscreen televisies, en een eigen badkamer. Onder het hoogste niveau vindt u een perfecte entertainment ruimte met bar, wijnkoeler, tafelvoetbal tafel, 60 "UHDTV en veel zitplaatsen te vinden. De beneden verdieping beschikt ook over 3 extra slaapkamers.

    Buiten de villa vindt u stapt uit in het prachtige landschap van Douglas Lake. Bij Smoky Mountain Villas hebben we alles wat u nodig heeft voor een meer avontuurlijk. Gelegen onder de Villa is ons dok dat onze boot huisvest (beschikbaar voor huur). Paddleboards, kajaks en vistuigen zijn allemaal gratis beschikbaar voor gasten. Dit gebied is ook een geweldige omgeving om te zwemmen!

    Onze locatie is perfect voor degenen die wensen om de Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg en Sevierville bezoeken zonder in het midden van de drukte.

    Bij Smoky Mountain Villas We hebben full-time manager / onderhoudspersoneel in dienst tijdens de normale kantooruren van 08:00-05:00 M-F als gast iets nodig hebt of vragen hebt.

The home was beautiful and well maintained with all the necessary amenities. Maintenance employees were very considerate and always working to keep up the pool and grounds. Would recommend this facility to everyone.

Awesome view. Kind of off the path a bit but perfect for a quiet, relaxing long weekend. We had a blast staying there and would definitely be back. Josh was awesome and on top of everything.

Perfect for Couples Group

Five couples visited this beautiful lodge on Sugar Cove and had an absolutely wonderful time. The space was large, clean, and had great access to Douglas Lake. Adding this one to my list to visit again

Perfect get away for multi family vacation. The cabin had plenty of bedrooms for everyone, with each bedroom with thier own private bathroom. Lake is huge, giving everyone plenty of room to do thier boating, tubing, fishing or jet ski's. Boat dock was nice, and could do fishing from the dock.Property also provided kayaks for renters use, which the grandkids enjoyed. Great place and would rent again.

Our stay at the lodge was perfect. The house is so spacious that our family of 12 had plenty of space. We so enjoyed the free kayaks and other water toys! It is a stunning lake with lots to do close by. Make sure you rent the golf cart as the hill to the house is a tough one to walk.

Getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge! It was beautiful, clean, and the owner was responsive and polite! Plenty of space to get together and eat, enjoy the view, or hangout in the den. Location wise - it’s a bit off the beaten path, but we were still less than an hour drive from most major tourist attractions.

Family Vacation 2023

Our family loved everything about this property, even the great workout up and down the hill! Great hosts and so much fun! We rented the pontoon for the week which was super nice. Lots of space for all of us too! Thanks so much! Highly recommend!

House was large and had features as advertised. Spectacular view. Pool was great. Josh was very responsive and great to deal with. Hill down to the pool and lake is very steep. Get a golf cart if possible.

Beautiful home and location

This home was just beautiful. There are 12 of us ranging in age from 2 to 65. The golf cart made our trips to the lake and pool easy. The villas on the property were being used as well with folks from Ohio and TX and we all share the dock and pool just fine and we met new friends. Our only negative was that the activities for the kids were further away than the milage leads you to believe because of the winding 2-lane roads. All in all this was a great vacation! Our 10th year of celebrating our summers together.

Fantastic property for large parties

The house is amazing; beautiful wood pretty much everywhere; large reception room with a lovely wood burner; huge kitchen and dining area; comfortable bedrooms with ample linens and towels; topped by a terrific view over Douglas Lake. The management services led by Josh were super responsive and helpful. The only recommendation was that kitchen utensils a and crockery could be updated and added to - we bought (and left) 15 glasses but some more plates, veggie peelers, colanders/sieves, and oven trays would be helpful for catering for large groups as ours was.

Lovely Place for Families

The view of Douglas Lake is beautiful. With lake access, dock, a pontoon boat available to rent and kayaks and standing boards to use (we used them all) the family had a blast. The lodge was clean and spacious with a layout that allowed larger gatherings and supported private time. Every bedroom had a private bath. Josh was made himself available to answer questions and supported our stay. The kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking so bring even the basic spices if planning to eat in. They do have dishes, glasses and silverware, knives and pots. The outside gas grill was great! Lovely pool, hot tub, and fire pit on site. Great place to decompress and connect with family, friends and nature.

The Lodge

First I want to say WOW. I have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. We select an annual site for our Family reunion late in the fall for the next year. We do a lot of research before we make the final selection. We have to select a house big enough for 6 families and children. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match. I can usually judge if the unit is good as soon as I walk in the door. This unit was as close to perfect as you can get. When you walk into the unit, you see that big wall of glass with the balcony looking down on the lake behind- PERFECT. I do not think I even unpacked. I grabbed a glass of wine and sat on the balcony - Just looking at the view. A bathroom in every bedroom also made everyone happy. You could not make it any better. Then add the pool, the lake, the Kayaks and paddleboards. Even the children were happy. To top it off Pigeon Forge was very close. NOTE: At our Family reunions we like to eat together. I am always surprised that a house that can sleep 16 has a dining table for only 10. A minor negative.

Spacious lodge with great view

This log home is spacious and perfectly situated on a hill above the Douglas Lake. The view is spectacular! We loved the layout of the main floor. The kitchen and dining area were spacious for our large family, which included six small to elementary-aged children. The bedrooms were roomy, and the closets in the 2 upstairs bedrooms were so large that they actually could double as bedrooms for babies/small kids. The walk down the hill to the pool and dock was short & a little steep but good exercise. Douglas Lake was a treasure with surprisingly sparse boat traffic. Smoky Mountain Villas provided kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets on the docket. Our grandkids had a ball using those and just jumping off the dock. Josh was extremely helpful in answering our many questions, getting us connected with boat rental places, and directing us to the proper sites for obtaining fishing licenses. We loved the private and quiet location and would definitely return to this amazing property. My only suggestion would be to update some of the cookware and kitchen utensils.
