Beach House Paradise

Incredible location. Everything we needed and wanted was in walking distance. The hosts were amazing and very easy to communicate with. The residence was amazing. The first room downstairs with the full bathroom was great for my elderly grandmother. The downstairs was big enough for 6 adults to all move comfortably throughout the space. The downstairs patio was great. Fun people watching, the sand was steps away and the fresh air throughout the house was the best. Upstairs was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

Ocean waves and smiles

The property was perfect for a family gathering overlooking the ocean. It was clean, plenty or room and the view was amazing from the patio and the balcony. My mother loves the beach and was able to hear the sound of the ocean all day and night and seeing the family smile while out on the beach and on the patio was heartfelt.

Pro's: Great location, steps from the beach and restaurants, shops. Having a garage to park in is a plus. Trying to get 2 cars in there would be a struggle. Downstairs kitchen and bathroom look newly remodeled. Beautiful Quartz countertops in Kitchen and downstairs Bathroom. Available beach chairs, wagons, beach toys and towels for use. Beautiful view in upstairs bedroom. Second upstairs bedroom is very large as well. Two good sized balconies, one off upstairs bedroom and downstairs living area. Cons: (These are all mentioned in previous reviews) Smell coming from downstairs bathroom. Has a sewage smell. Garbage situation. Outside garbage cans were completely full on the side of the house and nowhere to put your garbage. BBQ is inoperable. Bathrooms upstairs are inadequate as the showers’ pressure are not very good and don't stay warm. The downstairs bedroom has a Full sized bed not a Queen. Info for accessing property not available until 30 minutes before check in. I was told it would be available 1 hour before check-in by Host. Carpet in the master bedroom is old and stained. Also would have been nice if at least 1 paper towel roll was available upon arrival.

Great Location!

I read the reviews and the descriptions were pretty accurate so I wasn’t surprised. The location was amazing. We had a large extended cab truck that was about 6” too long to fit in the garage but the beach parking lot was right out front. Parking overnight was free but paid the daily and didn’t mind at all. Could walk a couple blocks for coffee, donuts, ice cream and pubs. I knew there weren’t any paper towels and that would have been nice. There was a faint sewer smell coming from the downstairs shower drain but it wasn’t anything I was concerned about. It came and went. Yes the upstairs carpet needs replaced but not a deal breaker. It would be nice if the upstairs balcony window edging was cleaned for a better view but again no paper towels. Would I stay there again? Yes, in a heartbeat. The beds were comfortable and clean. We were literal minutes away and could Uber quickly if we planned on us all having drinks at dinner.

fabulous location but rental to maintain

The location facing the ocean is incredible and games for children and seats are available. On the other hand, the arrival procedure was very complicated and required several messages to assistance. the manager did not respond to my last message asking him to empty the trash cans that have been present for several weeks and a very bad smell on the ground floor. the accommodation needs to be maintained (windows, lamps, etc.). I have the feeling that this rental is only interested in money.

Newport stay

The house was nice and clean. Saturday night is really loud in this area, with the nightlife right there in that location. Please replace the grill. We were really bummed that it didn’t work. We had brought meat to put on the grill for our family dinner. That’s was a real bummer. Other than that, it was great.

Beach House

We were disappointed that there were no instructions inside of the house, which could have helped immensely. The night was cold and the heater would not go on. There was only one space heater downstairs. No towels in the downstairs bathroom. The disposal did not work. So we called the host and did not hear back the first day. The next day we reached out again, and finally, someone was sent to the house. The batteries in the thermostat were not working. New batteries were put in and the heater worked. The disposal was also fixed. We had no towels in the kitchen no paper towels and no dishwasher soap. Having no instructions for WiFi or the ceiling fan in the living room that we could not get to turn off. We can only say these things, so it should be managed better.

Perfect Spot for a family with Teenagers

The location was perfect, beach access for my teenage kids and also plenty of food options in walking distance. The perfect size house for a family of four with a couple friends for my kids. The downstairs was modern and updated, the upstairs was dated and could use a modern update, but for the price it was fine especially for off-season in March. The property manger was quick to respond and made every effort to satisfy our requests and make sure we were happy. We would definitely stay again. It was a bit noisy at night due to the bars/nightlife that is right around the corner and we did have a few drunk passerbuyers hanging out in front of the house off and on but other then that we had a fantastic stay.

Not Worth It

This is advertised as family-friendly but we would not agree. We stayed in March and it was chilly. There is no heat in the home so they provide three space heaters. There were not working outlets on the second level the first night - it was about 50-degrees. Few blankets in the house. We realized there must be a circuit breaker issue so the next morning we reset it. The TV in the master still didn’t work. The home needs updated and is not as crisp and clean as it appears in the photos. It sits across from the beach parking lot and street noise and neighborhood noise (yelling/fighting, fireworks, party crowds, etc) was constant the first night until about 3:30am. (Note: we had no working outlets to use and no TV to drown out the sound.) Second night was not as noisy but we were not comfortable. We were not pleased with the rental. We notified property manager we were leaving early. They offered to refund us one night for our trouble which we appreciated. However, they have not refunded as they promised and have not responded to messages. Such a disappointment.

Beautiful property

Cute house right on the beach! Downstairs is updated and the patio opens right out to the beach! Also very close to shops and restaurants. We parked when we got in and walked everywhere the whole weekend. Lots of space and bathrooms. It was easy to communicate with owner and check in and out was simple. Only complaint was there was no kitchen towels and only a few paper towels. No dishwasher detergent. Also one of the bed is advertised as a queen but seemed to be a double. But regardless we had a wonderful stay!

Serenity

Everything you need within a 10 to 15 minute walk. We celebrated our mothers “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” with a nice dinner on the beach . The home itself gave time to enjoy others in living area or to have quiet time off the master bedroom on a balcony overlooking the beach. It was all we hoped it would be! The only thing we suggest is a round table with 6 chairs on patio downstairs , the weather allows for great Margaritas in the evening with boards games to enjoy sunset , or wake up to the sunshine with our morning coffee.

Location, location, location…

Amazing location, beautiful remodel downstairs. There is a regular coffee pot so bring your ground coffee and basket filters. Having 3 full bathrooms is extremely rare for older homes at the beach, that is a huge plus. There were some sand chairs, beach toys and one boogie board. Expect the noise and energy of the boardwalk, it is a fun location but that comes with the possibility of some noise at all times of the day and night. We had a great time in this home and you can’t beat the access to the beach, shops, rentals, and restaurants.

Beautiful property

We loved staying in this property. It was clean and remodeled. Perfect size for our family. We did have issue with the washer which we were notified upon check in. The location is fun although it does get very loud- and stays loud late into the night even on weekdays. We would definitely stay at this location again though.

Great location

Loved our stay!!! Everything was clean and nice and location was fantastic. Steps away from ice cream, donuts and sand!! We didn’t even get in our cars the entire stay. We walked everywhere!!! The cons: garage is super tight if you have bigger vehicle but you CAN fit…we had 2 vehicles (large suv and mini suv.) just have to slowly back in!! The carpet in master bedroom not my favorite. I would rather them just have wood floors like the rest of the home. And also the paper goods are not good quality.. toilet paper, paper towels, etc. But honestly other than those few things it’s a really fun, roomy, and fabulous stay!!! Highly recommend!!!

Location, location, location!!!

This property is in a perfect location, and had a great layout for our group! It was so fun to sit on the upper or lower balcony and watch people go by. It’s steps from the sand, and a two minute walk to shopping and restaurants. Such a fun stay and I would highly recommend it!

Worry Free Relaxation

After parking in the house’s garage, we never had to drive again. The pictures are true—the beach is just outside the door. What the pictures don’t show are how close you will be to restaurants, bars, and beach rental shops. If you’re looking for a place to check-in and check-out from worry, this might be the place for you.

Great house with an amazing location!

Our stay at this home was amazing! We arrived to soft music playing in the living room and it smelled freshly cleaned. Everything from the posting was accurate and the parking was plenty for two mid size cars. Bars and restaurants are all around and close to the house. We’ll be back again!
