'The cabin is very nicely setup with everything you need for a couple of nights in the woods. Just a short drive to the quaint town of Logan and close to the Hocking Hills state park for some day hiking among the waterfalls and cliffs.'

'The place was clean and I would definitely stay here again. A lot of the administration must be handled by Book Hocking rather than the owner who actually knows the property. They use similar language in every property description, including “4-wheel drive recommended” even though there is a perfectly flat parking area, and “leave your trash in the bins out on the driveway”, even though it should have said walk/drive your trash 1/8 mile to the end of the private road where all the trash cans...

'It was excellent ! We are now considering a weekend with the entire family. The only challenge we had was, the heat. We kept it on 70, and when the heat came on, the furnace and ductwork sounded rough, and, the heat really pours out. My opinion is, the furnace is oversized for this cabin.That said, we will definitely rent it again!!'

'The location was peaceful and close to hiking and restaurants. There was plenty of deer and rabbits for our viewing pleasure. I liked there was no internet so that my vacation forced me to disconnect and relax (something I have a hard time doing). Take some games, DVDs, and books and relax. Only one real recommendation - chairs (rockers or a porch swing) on the front porch. It is a great porch and that is where we saw most of the wild life. I could have sat out there for hours.'

'Excellent visit overall. A little trouble locating the cabin. The stay was beginning of spring so there wasn’t much to block some of the road noise but I’m sure it only gets better as the trees fill in. The seclusion was excellent, the fire pit setup was outstanding. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. If I had to ding something, it would be the steps up to the bedroom. A little tricky with minimal light. Overall, I’d return again'
