Bring the whole crew. This 4-bedroom Nevada City cabin sleeps 16, and one of those bedrooms is the Gold Suite, a private suite with its own entrance on the lower deck. A 5th private room, the retro arcade/office, has its own entrance too. There`s something for every age, and downtown Nevada City is just 5 minutes away.

ROOM FOR EVERYONE TO GATHER
The main level is wide open, with vaulted ceilings, warm wood and walls of windows into the trees. A big sectional and extra lounge chairs give everyone a seat for movie night. The dining table seats 10, and the kitchen island adds bar seating. Right next to the table, a French door opens to the long outdoor dining table about 5 feet away, so the whole group can eat together inside or out. The kitchen has a butcher-block island, a gas range and a coffee station for feeding a crowd. On cool nights, gather around the wood-burning stove with its round built-in firewood nook. The bar nook is ready for evening drinks.

LIFE ON THE DECKS
The two decks wrap the cabin in the pines, with 27 seats plus a bench, so the whole group can be outside together.

Upper deck: Step through the French doors from the dining room to the long outdoor table for 8 under the string lights. Fire up the gas grill, gather in the wicker lounge, or soak in the hot tub tucked into the trees. A bench and chairs sit under the full overhang outside the living room door, and a quiet side nook has two chairs for morning coffee.

Lower deck: Fully covered and dry in any weather, with hanging egg chairs and more seating. It`s also where the Gold Suite and the retro arcade open up through their own French doors, so it can turn into a second hangout away from the main house.

SOMETHING FOR EVERY AGE
- Retro arcade: classic Nintendo games, plus stand-alone Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat arcade machines, a basketball arcade game and shelves of board games. The kids love it, and the millennial parents might love it more.
- Kids` teepee: a cozy play teepee with plush throws for the littlest guests.
- Ping-pong in the garage, fun for everyone.
- Hot tub on the upper deck under the string lights.
- Bar nook for the grown-ups.

THE GOLD SUITE: YOUR OWN SPACE
If your group includes a family who wants a little privacy, the Gold Suite is for them. It sits on the lower deck with its own entrance, and there`s no access from inside the main house. It has a queen bed with a twin trundle, room for an air mattress, its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a coffee bar with a mini fridge. French doors open to the trees, with built-in blinds for privacy. It`s part of the stay but feels like its own little cabin.

RETRO ARCADE + OFFICE
The arcade also has its own private entrance on the lower deck, separate from the house and from the Gold Suite. It doubles as a quiet office with a desk, a second TV and high-speed internet. French doors open to the trees, with built-in blinds when you need to focus. Take your calls down there while the rest of the group is on the deck.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (SLEEPS 16)
- Main level: Green bedroom with a queen bed. It`s the only bedroom on the main level, so it`s the best choice for anyone who`d rather avoid stairs. Full bath with tub and shower next door.
- Upstairs: King bedroom.
- Upstairs: Queen bedroom with a twin daybed and trundle, plus the kids` teepee. It shares a Jack-and-Jill bath (tub/shower) with the king room, and each room has its own vanity.
- Loft: Queen futon.
- Gold Suite (lower deck, private entrance): Queen with twin trundle and a private bathroom.
- Extras: Two queen air mattresses with bedding, plus a twin floor mattress. There`s room for an air mattress in the Gold Suite.

Good to know: the Gold Suite and arcade are reached by walking outside and down the deck stairs. There`s no inside access, which is what keeps them private. There are 3 steps up to the front door.

LOCATION
Tucked in the pines just 5 minutes from historic downtown Nevada City, this cabin puts the best of the Sierra foothills within easy reach.

Town: Downtown Nevada City is just 5 minutes away, with Gold Rush-era streets full of shops, wine tasting and live music. For dinner, two of our favorites are SushiQ and Dakan, and for craft cocktails, don`t miss The Golden Era. Grass Valley is another 11 minutes down the road.

Water: Spend the day at Scotts Flat Reservoir (11 min), swim the emerald pools of the Yuba River at Hoyt`s Crossing (17 min), or camp and boat at Rollins Reservoir (23 min). There`s room to park the boat when you get back.

Trails: Deer Creek Trail starts about 500 feet up the road, and mountain bikers can ride the Pioneer Trail from Harmony Ridge Market (17 min).

Holidays: Through December, Nevada City`s Victorian Christmas and Grass Valley`s Cornish Christmas fill the streets with carolers, lights and holiday vendors. The cabin gets decorated too, tree and all.

Day trips: Truckee (1 hr), North Lake Tahoe (80 min) and Reno (90 min) are an easy drive for skiing and snow days.

GOOD TO KNOW
Couples Retreat Package: Just the two of you? On weekday stays, we offer a discounted rate and cleaning fee for single-couple bookings. Message us before booking for pricing. The discount can`t be added after an instant booking.

Heating: The Gold Suite and arcade share the house`s thermostat. When the wood stove is going upstairs, the main floor warms up and the heat may cycle off, so the lower level can run cooler. A space heater in the Gold Suite keeps it cozy.

No smoking: This is a smoke-free home. If we find signs of smoking inside, a $500 fee covers professional odor removal.

Guest count: The home sleeps up to 16, including children. If you`re thinking of bringing more people or having visitors stop by, just message us first. Unregistered guests are charged $100 per person per night.

Doorbell camera: There`s one doorbell camera at the front door to help with check-in. It records only short motion-triggered clips.

Left-behind items: We`re happy to ship anything you leave behind for a $50 service fee plus postage.
Please be sure to read this rental agreement (the “Agreement”) in its entirety. The vacation rental property you have selected (the “Vacation Rental”) may have additional rules, policies, terms and conditions that apply to your stay, which are found in the description section(s) of the Vacation Rental listing. Among others, this Agreement contains the following important terms:
• Any payments you make are non-refundable. Please read the cancellation policy carefully before booking and consider purchasing travel insurance (Section 2).
• You are releasing JC Property Solutions LLC and the homeowner from certain types of liability and agreeing to assume certain risks on behalf of yourself and each individual present during the stay (Sections 12 & 13); you are aware that traveling may increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.
• This Agreement requires claims to be resolved through Arbitration (Section 17).
• This Agreement contains a Jury Trial wavier and a Class action waiver (Section 19).

1. BOOKING TRANSACTION. This Agreement is betweenJC Property Solutions LLC (“The host”) and the individual completing this booking transaction for the Vacation Rental (“you” or “Guest”).JC Property Solutions LLC represents the owner of the Vacation Rental. JC Property Solutions LLC provides the Vacation Rental subject to the terms of this Agreement. You agree that you will be present at the Vacation Rental for the entire duration of the reservation and that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring everyone in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental (each an “occupant”) is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement. If you are bringing a minor as an occupant, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor throughout the duration of your stay and agree to the terms of this Agreement on each minor’s behalf.
2. PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION. The total amount due, including the base rates, taxes, and fees are displayed on the checkout webpage for the Vacation Rental. A portion of your total payment may be due upon checkout, as indicated in the “amount to be charged now” line. The balance is due prior to arrival within the schedule indicated on the reservation webpage. Please review these amounts carefully. You may cancel your booking at any time, however, all amounts that have been paid prior to your cancellation will be non-refundable unless specifically indicated otherwise at checkout. Please review the specific cancellation and refund terms in the listing you are reserving prior to checkout as exceptions will not be made once your reservation is confirmed.
3. HOUSE RULES & POLICIES. The Vacation Rental may have specific rules and policies regarding pets, smoking/vaping, quiet hours, parking, pool and/or hot tub usage, and
other local, HOA, or property regulations. These rules are detailed in the description section of the Vacation Rental listing, in an Exhibit A attached hereto, or as otherwise delivered to you, and are incorporated into this Agreement. Please review these terms carefully, as violation(s) may result in additional fees or the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund. Further, violation of any law or ordinance by any individual at the Vacation Rental during your reservation will result in the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund.
