'Peter and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They gave us ideas of where to eat and places to see. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable with them providing information about the area. If we return to the Northumberland area we will definitely return there to stay again.'

'Very easy going and comfortable hotel, beautifully located alongthe river Tweed. It’s well worth staying a couple of nights and use the hotel as a base for some beautiful hikes and sight-seeing. We loved the food in the restaurant. Best we had in Schotland. Feesh fish, crispy vegetables and a great breakfast ontbe 1st floor with a stunning view in the river. You can even bring your dogs!'

'Lovely stay, room immaculate, staff friendly and attentive on arrival (thank you Susan!) Bar/pub welcoming, nice friendly atmosphere. Could not fault food, was tasty, fresh and good portion sizes. Breakfast was served in lovely communal area where we could help ourselves to drinks. Overall great overnight stay. Thank you ☺️ '

'There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way.'
