'Prima hotel maar niet meer dan dat. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Ligt op loopafstand van strand/boulevard. De weg is echt gehorig, ook 's nachts. Kamers zijn prima, badkamer ook. Ontbijt is 1 ster, koffie is niet te nassen. Vandaar geen 4, maar 3 sterren. '

'The room was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. It was a beautiful room and it was conveniently located to a lot of things very walkable. The only thing we did not like was that we gave them laundry to do and as long as you fit it in a bag, then they charge you €20 for that bag when we got the laundry back, it was folded in two bags and they charged us for two bags, even though we have been led to believe that whatever would fit in the bag was for €20 so they ended up charging us for three...

Probably the only negative point is the slightly too loud music in the garden and swinning pool area. 'We loved our stay at Nysis. The rooms were well appointed, quiet and spotlessly clean. The gardens and pool area were lovely - perfect for a bit of sunbathing, reading or just sitting with a cold glass of wine. The location is convenient for both the beaches and restaurants and the port, from which the boat taxi can take you to the beaches further around the island. 'We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grotta. From the start, they arranged for free transport to and from the Ferry Port. This was extremely convenient and cost effective for us. We enjoyed the friendly driver who handled our tranport. When I had a problem with a change in time on our ferry ticket, he quickly transported me to the Ferry ticket office to resolve so I could get to my ferry on time. The breakfast was spectacular.
