'We loved our river view, balcony room. Enjoyed watching hot air balloons from room and river lights in the evening. Staff was very helpful in arranging pick up and drop off at train station, perfectly on time. Great location to walk to restaurants and cross river bridge. Beautiful pool as well. '

'A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi...
