'What a magnificent hotel, wow. Room was super nice and clean. Common area with fridge is a great idea btw. And to top it all: there was an arctic fox den nearby, so we saw cute little arctic fox pups near our room. Loved everything about this place! This is THE hotel to stay at when considering a trip to Askja or other nearby F road adventures. '

'It was amazing! If you love the solitude that‘s the place to stay. We had a clear night without any wind and the sky was full of northern lights. And the best part, no other people around (well, except the hosts, horses, chicken and ducks from the lake in front of our little cottage). Only 20 min away from Godafoss, or 25 min away from Húsavík. Definitely recommend this one! The host was very nice and welcomed us warmly. '

'Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean. Loved the fact that they had two pillows per bed....yeah!! Our host was very kind. We had a great breakfast delivered to us the next morning in a lovely bag. There was so much we ate half of it for lunch! It was great walking to Godafoss in the evening and next morning. The two visiting sheep were awesome and came with a great story! I am rallying behind the two siblings who managed to escape their fate, not once, not twice, but four times!...
